Jacqueline Hyde, PsyD ~ Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Pinebrook Mental Health Therapy
Living with purpose and meaning is a primary human concern. Drawing upon a "meaning based" orientation, I assist my clients in their search for self actualization in all areas of life, including physical, emotional, psychological, relational, and transpersonal.
I have lived in Maui, HI, Berkeley, CA, and Juneau, AK, which has prepared me to work within a variety of cultural perspectives. My clinical training includes working at the University Neuropsychiatric Institute (UNI) with mentally ill patients, Health Clinics of Utah with lower socioeconomic patients in need, and Sandy Counseling Center assisting with domestic violent groups. I find great meaning and purpose in my career as a Clinical Mental Health Therapist.
Learning new things is a continuous journey for me. I have a double Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Human Development, a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, and a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology.
I also find immense joy outside skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, trail running, sailing, and kite surfing.
